Companies and organisations are in a constant state of change and adaptation. Whether hierarchical or largely self-organised organisations, communication grinds to a halt and stakeholders are left behind. A function is needed to prepare the relevant information appropriately for each set of stakeholders at the right time.
Clear communication shows employees respect, encourages them to deal with reality and gives them an opportunity to choose to actively participate in the change. This leads to useful processes and results, which can then be built on.
Thanks to my many years in communications management, I am familiar with these mechanisms and pitfalls and know what needs to be done to ensure a steady and orderly approach to change processes.
